Abstract:In order to serve the newly reconstructed intrinsic theory, Xiong Shili reformed the Confucian method. He proposed “use both thinking and proof” to introduce wise ways of thinking and discernment, and serve Confucianism’s understanding and intuition. At the same time, it proposed “thinking and practicing” and used the “Kung Fu Discussion” of Confucian moral cultivation to standardize the manipulation of wise law and direct viewing law. As a masterpiece of modern neo-Confucianism, Xiong Shili highly valued the problem of method discussion and regarded him as the focus of Confucianism’s intrinsic theory and understanding theory in line with the laws.
